Lucy Yates is photographer currently based in Somerset.
Lucy works full time for the Fire and Rescue Service and enjoys working on her photography in her spare time. Lucy graduated from the University for the Creative Arts (UCA Farnham) in 2015 and studied under photographers and artists such as Natasha Caruana, Ellen Nolan, Matt Lindsay, Kathy Kubicki and Emmanuelle Waeckerle.

Born in Hertfordshire and raised in Norfolk, Lucy first began taking an interest in photography when undergoing her A-Levels. From completing her A-Levels, she went to study a BTEC National Diploma in Photography at the College of West Anglia before finally completing a BA Hons Degree in Photography (UCA).
Lucy enjoys focusing her photography around various subjects such as Portraits, Classical Nudes, Landscapes and recently Alternative and Historical Processes such as Cyanotypes. Lucy is currently working on her photographic projects around her full time employment with the Fire and Rescue Service.
In Lucy’s spare time, she likes to travel to places such as Norfolk and Cornwall. Norfolk holds a dear place in her heart as this is where she spent her childhood growing up and spending time with family and friends. Other things that interest Lucy are good books, cups of tea, cross-stitching, cooking and making memories with her partner Ben.
