10 months in, and it's still bloody hard work.

So.. It has been 10 months since my last post on my website (I am so sorry!) and I have had so many ups and downs that I can't even explain into words. But at present, I have moved pubs here in Norfolk. I am now based at The Three Horseshoes in Roydon, Norfolk, and I work with such a close-knit team they are the soul and life of the pub. With the change in work place came the transition of being a Bar Supervisor to Assistant Pub Manager. It can be challenging at times but so far I am really enjoying it and have great support from the Top Boss's to the bar tenders / waitresses. It's not exactly the career change I was hoping for, but it helps pay towards my rent, bills and more importantly my photography equipment. However, working here at 'The Shoes', the staff are very supportive with my photography and allow me to take pictures of their dishes, the pub itself and hopefully any events coming up in the future.

Not only are the staff supportive but the locals that come down and enjoy a pint of locally brewed ale are also enthusiastic towards my practice... And thus, I got a small commission thrown towards my way!

I had the pleasure of taking pictures of this Royal Enfield Classic 500 Limited Edition Desert Storm. One of my regular's from the pub is one lucky owner and has recently purchased this beauty of a bike. Ever since a young age, he has taken pictures of his bikes that he has ever had the pride of owning and has a small collection of photographs in his house. 2 weeks ago, he asked me to take a couple of pictures of his Royal Enfield to add to his collection. Printed and framed. Taking pictures of the bike was lots of fun, and something different to what I would say that I am specialised in, but it gave me the opportunity to get my hands busy and the motivation to get out of the house and enjoy doing something that I love. I am still awaiting prints to come back from my chosen printers (DS Colour Labs) and cannot wait to give the final product to the owner.
